Key Features of KeepTruckin ELD

GPS Tracking ★★★★☆

The KeepTruckin ELD comes with a GPS tracking feature through which you can get the real-time location of your vehicles and manage the fleets efficiently. It also has the Geofencing feature that allows you to set the virtual boundaries for an area. The device will notify you whenever a vehicle enters or exits that area. Apart from real-time tracking, GPS tracking will let you monitor the mileage, locations, driving behavior, and fuel usage.

FMCSA Compliance ★★★★★

The KeepTruckin ELD is an FMCSA-certified device and helps the drivers and fleet management comply with the rules. It sends you alerts for any activity that may lead to a violation. Easy plug-and-play setup, intuitive app, and automation are a few of the best qualities of the device.

Easy HoS Recording ★★★★☆

With on-screen tracking, service modes, timers, and alerts KeepTruckin ELD helps you in maintaining HoS hassle-free. It has a comfortable user interface that is designed for the drivers. The drivers can also check the distance traveled, breaks taken, and off-duty timings to regulate the timings accordingly. Moreover, they get the HoS reminders to stay compliant with the rules.

DoT Compliance ★★★★☆

KeepTruckin ELD is fully compliant with the driver’s record of duty status (RODS) regulations by the U.S. DoT. The drivers can easily provide the hardware while inspection by simply turning on the DoT mode. It’s easy to view and send the logs through this device.

Offline Mode ★★★★☆

To avoid any obstacles in remote areas where you may not get any signals KeepTruckin’s offline mode can save the day. Offline mode allows the app to store the data on the local storage and upload it to the cloud when the signal or WiFi is available. Through this feature, drivers can log in, set the status, check information, etc. without any network connection.

IFTA Reporting ★★★★☆

KeepTruckin ELD can calculate the traveled distance and fuel purchased automatically. It provides you the option to view trip reports and check the date or vehicle type by applying filters. You can add the purchases one-by-one, or in bulk by uploading a CSV file. You can get the CSV file from your fuel vendor. This feature helps you in easily generating reports of distance traveled in a particular province or state.

Two-Way Messaging ★★★★★

This feature allows the drivers and the fleet managers to contact through instant messaging whenever required. Through this feature, fleet managers can send instructions to a single driver or a broadcast list of drivers altogether.

Dashcam ★★★★☆

KeepTruckin gives you the option of buying a smart dashcam for recording your journeys. The smart dashcam will help your drivers to record the road-facing as well as the rearview. This will let them record all the minor details of the journey that might be helpful afterward. They can use the footage for proof of their innocence in case of the wrong allegation by a plaintiff.

Driver’s Scorecard ★★★★★

If you wonder whether your drivers are driving the vehicles in the right way or not, then KeepTruckin is a great choice for you. It tracks driving behavior, hard-braking, speeding, acceleration, and overall driving performance. The device will generate the driver’s scorecard based on their performance. ★★★★★

“Most User-friendly ELD.”

What do you like best?

Easy to set up and use. Easy to trainer new drivers on. Easy to monitor trucks and drivers. This can be used on a tablet or phone. Even the most old school drivers can learn this system.

What do you dislike?

Occasionally the GPS will be off and not catch up with the vehicle in bad cell areas of the country. Usually is only for a short time of no contact and nothing gets a signal in the area. It is mostly mountains.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need an easy and efficient way of utilizing ELD’s, KeepTruckin is the best.
